How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 on top of our 2023 Audi Q5. With compact SUVs, like the Q5, space is at a premium. So if you take a look in your hatch area, you already know that there's not a ton of space in there. So having a roof box like the Yakima SkyBox is gonna allow you to take advantage of the roof area to carry more cargo. The 16 cubic foot model is designed to cover about three additional people. If you have snowboards or skis, it'll accommodate up to 175 centimeters. more

Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Audi Q7- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box on the 2021 Audi Q7. I know you have a lot of cargo space there in your Q7, but what if you wanna use your third row of seats You then lose out on that cargo space, or if you wanna carry items that are a little bulky, a little large like skis and snowboards, it's so much easier to put them onto your roof rather than finding a spot for them in your backseat, that's where rooftop cargo box like this can come in handy. This is the Thule Force XT L, you can actually get the slightly larger size which is the XL and still be able to open up your hatch and see your window, and we'll take those measurements here in this video. We're gonna get this onto our roof rack here. All right, go do it very carefully. Ideally, you can do this with two people or you should do this with two people, but I wanted to show you that I could do it all by myself too. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box here on our 2021 Audi Q7. Now a rooftop box is a great way to get some extra cargo space for your vehicle. Your Q7 does have that third row of seats, so if we are hauling passengers in there and having their stuff with us, we do have a much more limited amount of space in the back cargo area. So, the next best place in my mind is the roof to put that stuff because for a hitch, it does require some cutting and you might not want to do that to your vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Audi Q5, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. That's part number TH636S. That offers 22 cubic feet of space. With our Thule Aeroblade Podium Roofrack system already installed on our vehicle, we'll go ahead and put our cargo box on our load bars. You want to make sure that your clamps are opened up. You'll also want to make sure your box is all the way forward if you can. Go ahead and line our other clamps up. more

Thule Sonic Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Audi Q5- Video
Today on our 2013 Audi Q5, we will be testing the Thule Sonic Large Rooftop Cargo Box. That's part number TH634B. Now, it has 13 cubic feet of space and with our Thule Arrow Blade Podium roof rack system already installed, we can go ahead and set our box on our load bars. We'll want to make sure that our clamps are open. We'll also want to make sure that our box is all the way slid forward as possible to ensure clearance for our rear hatch to open. We'll go ahead and line our other clamps up and go ahead and center up our box, once again making sure that our cargo box is all the way forward. Once we have checked that, we'll go ahead and unlock it. more

Now this offers 21 cubic feet of space, so with our Thule AeroBlade and Podium roof rack system already installed we can go ahead and set our box on top of our load bars. You want to make sure that your clamps are open to go over the load bars. I like to just scoot it on through. You'll want to make sure that your other clamps are open. more

Thule Pulse Large Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Audi Q5- Video
Today on our 2013 Audi Q5, we will be testing the Thule Pulse XL rooftop cargo box. That's part number TH615. That offers 16 cubic feet of space and with out Thule Arrow Blade Podium roof rack system already installed, we can go ahead and set our box on our load bars. We'll want to make sure that our clamps are open and ready for our load bars to go in between them. As you can see there, once we get those lined up, we'll go ahead and scoot it down to line up our other clamps, making sure that our box is all the way forward so it allows clearance for our rear hatch to open. All right, another thing I would like to mention real quick is that you do want to favor one side of the car because our box only opens from this side. We'll go ahead and favor it to this side. What we'll want to do is once we get that set up, we'll go ahead and unlock our box, open it up, and you'll notice our four tightening knobs. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Audi Q7- Video
Today on our 2015 Audi Q7 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XL rooftop cargo box. That's part number TH635S. This box is going to have 17 cubic feet of space on the inside. Now with our Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system in place we're going to put this box right on top of the load bars. As we're doing that we're going to angle the box towards the roof, and that will allow us to put our feet right around the load bars. Once those are around we can slide it across, then fitting our other feet around the load bars. more
